summer ’22 // the happy camper tag! 🏕

Hiya buddies! Welcome back to Maggie’s Doodles! Yesterday, Heidi created a new tag ✨ and I’m gonna do it today! I bring to you The Happy Camper Tag!

I’ve never actually been camping 😂 but I stayed at a cabin once! That’s as close to camping as I’ve gotten, haha. So I’ll draw from that experience if I’m able to, and for the rest of the questions, I’ll think about my ideal camping scenario!

♥ Rules:

  • Link back to the original post
  • Thank the person who nominated you and link back to their post
  • Tag your post ‘the happy camper tag’ so we can see who has participated
  • Include the rules in your post
  • Include the tag graphic in your post
  • Answer the questions based on your camping experience. If you haven’t been camping, answer the questions based off of what you think you would like/want to do.
  • Nominate at least 3 people to participate in the tag
  • Leave an open nomination for all the other Happy Campers out there
  • List the questions so your nominees can have easy access to them
  • Have fun!

♥ The Questions:

Would you rather sleep in a camper, tent or hammock? A camper! I’d never sleep in a hammock – I have a fear of falling out of one – and I might stay in a tent at some point, but my fear of bugs would make it hard to sleep hah…

Would you rather camp by the beach or in the mountains or in the woods? Bro camping at the beach would be super cool!

Do you like s’mores? Heck yeah! They taste amazinggg

How do you like your marshmallows: uncooked white, golden brown, or burnt black? Golden brown! I usually burn mine tho lol, since it takes a bit to achieve that gold. They’re also good uncooked as well! (Ooh have you ever tried sweet potato casserole? With marshmallow topping? bruh~ ❤ )

What is your favorite part about camping? If/When I ever do it lol (probably in late fall), getting to spend a bunch of time outside!

What is your least favorite part about camping? The bugs. *hands down*

Share an interesting/memorable (in a good or bad way) camping experience you have (if you’ve been camping). If you haven’t been camping, share an interesting/memorable (in a good or bad way) outdoor experience. Hmm~ a recent(ish) one I can think of 4th of July last year! We sat in the trunk of our car in a parking lot with other people and watched fireworks at a nearby event! And there were also fireworks we could see in random directions (at neighborhoods and a church), so basically whichever direction you looked, you’d probably see fireworks haha

♥ My Nominees:

Congrats guys! It’s okay if you’re not interested/don’t do tags. Just know I thought of ya!

  1. This is a nice tag! Camping can be fun…but also not sometimes haha…
Oddly enough, I don’t really enjoy camping. I do love summer camp with friends though. (as long as there are cabins.)
    Thanks for nominating me!
