hey guys! welcome back to maggie’s doodles 😂 so i’ve had the idea for this bonus series for months, but i was waiting until i had a couple songs to incorporate into it! welcome to funny doodle lyrics!
you know when you’re first getting to know a song, and you mishear a lyric? some misheard lyrics are just confusing, but others are absolutely hilarious!
i’ve doodled three different lyrics from songs i love the way that i misheard them! then i’ll share what the lyrics actually were.

ah so this one’s actually a realization, and less of a misheard lyric! in eminem and ed sheeran’s song river, here are ed’s real lyrics:

and when you say ‘cheat’ and then ‘oh’ afterward… guess what it sounds like 😂
i’m never gonna get the image of ed cheeto out of my head hahaha!

i PROMISE i heard this, niall. in his song cross my mind, he actually says:
if you leave me like a message in a bottle
and you don’t come back tomorrow,
at least you came tonight
it’s easy to pretend that i’m not caught up
but AVOCADO NIALL LOL
i actually mishear a lot of niall’s lyrics. is it my ears, his accent? i don’t know. i turn to the lyrics all the time haha because i get confused.
anyway i always since the “avocado” lyric because it makes me laugh!
this one i absolOOTELY 🙌 thought i heard correctly! fall out boy is known for their unique lyrics, and this sounds like something they’d say. but it’s not haha, here are the real lyrics in the last of the real ones:

just like a screw that’s been tightened too many times
the ‘head is stripped’ lyric that i did hear correctly should have been a tip-off to my error haha!

I mishear a lot of Michel Jackson lyrics. Like ahemm.. “love is a donut” “Tell it to the preacher, salads are so free yeahhh” Those are both from the same song🤦♀️ (your not the only one who hears food in songs🤣)
