hello contestants, blog readers, and all! welcome to the FIRST DARE of We Dare You To Blog 2022! this is an awesome blog competition where contestants compete for the title of Most Daring Blogger by battling it out completing dares!

on tuesdays and fridays when the dares are posted, you can check the scores below for a live view of everyone’s score! the eight circles signify dares that have not started yet. as people score points, i’ll put how much they earned the first round; round 2 will be combining all points the contestant has for a final score after each dare; and so on. slots containing an ‘X’ stand for unqualified, and the previous points are frozen and can be added to in the remaining rounds if more points are scored.

The first dare is…

Write a post announcing
something exciting…
but all the images
are “broken”!

⚡ How does it work? Read on to find out? ⚡

  • Write a post on your blog where you’re announcing something legendary, but the image/s are “broken”! You can use the image below. I found it on Google and edited it a bit to look legit. (You don’t need to credit me)
  • From right NOW (May 3rd) through May 6th 8:00 AM EST (three days), you’ll have time to write your post for it to qualify
  • So for an example post, name it something exciting (i.e. face reveal, new pet, room reveal, world record attempt, etc), then talk about the accomplishment in detail to hype everyone up! All the pictures related to the exciting thing must be broken. You can still do your intro, post dividers, signature, etc!
  • Keep everything family-friendly: don’t announce that you did something dangerous, inappropriate, or wrong
  • You’ll get 2 total points if you guys do this dare but tell someone on your blog or in the comments that it’s for a dare.
  • You’ll get 4 total points if you write the dare post and DON’T tell anyone in the comments or a post that it’s for a dare!
  • You have the chance to earn a maximum of 4 points for this dare!
  • I will like your post to let you know it qualified. If you don’t get this super important like, proofread your post to check for any mistakes!

    Although I’m not participating this year, it’s a lot of fun reading other people’s posts knowing the dare and commenting on the posts. And some of the comments are funny too!

    2. Ah this dare is bringing out the fakers. In your new art update post someone said “They were all awesome! I loved it! 😁😉”
      But they were not even there proving the person didn’t look at it or anything and just said stuff based on the title.

  7. Heyyyy….I loved reading so many dare posts…and you guys are so evil, even I got confused…and and and I really wanted to participate but I have my exams coming up…so I couldn’t 🤧

  9. I just realized, your dare, this one, is bringing out the fakers. I’ve sseen on the post with this “broken image” people commenting things like
    “they all are awesome”
    and I mean-
    the image isnt there.
    so they are obvio just saying that and didnt rlly look at the post.
    lol.
    REALLY amazing and interesting idea though! Really enjoying reading yours and others posts!

      4. I also commented there but because I knew that their posts were for the dare…so my comment was to confuse other innocent bloggers who didn’t knew about the dare! And also they knew that I know about that so they replied to my comments!
