hey guys! welcome back to maggie’s doodles. 💛 for some reason i’ve really been wanting to write & share this post on january 3rd, so now that that day has come, here i am haha!! 😂
last year, i shared my 2021 goals via doodles! (this post) then i
✨ never looked at them again ✨
so uh… did i do any of them accidentally? do i need to transfer these goals to 2022? we’ll see in this post together!

of my 2021 goals?
have a healthy relationship with food // i’ll say i did most of the time! at chick-fil-a, i’d make healthy choices half the week then fun food choices the other half; i made a balance of healthy/nutritious (*gasp* i just learned how to spell that word) breakfasts; and i drank SO MUCH WATER it’s insane haha
spend time out in nature // does expediting and order-taking count?? lol i did some, but i’d really consider this a win if i did a lot of bike rides, park visits, and state park adventures in a year, and that didn’t happen.
get enough rest // oh yeah. lol (that sounds sarcastic but it’s not) i was constantly reworking my sleep schedule at various points to accommodate my schedule! so i did!
accept and embrace change // well. *blinks* hmm, let’s work on this in 2022, shall we? *thinks back on specific moments last year* there were times that i did, but i fell pretty hard in different situations, as well. so it is a work-in-progress!
be intentional in my relationships with my mom and dad // yeah! i did consistently throughout the year.
play games with my brothers and sisters // yeeessss.? lol my priorities shifted around a lot though, and i want to focus on this more.
focus on the good/what i’m grateful for // yeah i did this consistently!
learn new songs + how to play them on the piano! // i did enjoy new music! but i learned very few new songs on the piano…
make new recipes // lol naw
keep on creating // oh yeah! 🤩
embrace contentment // i did frequently, but dabbled in discontentment as well tehe
continue learning // oh yeah!
never give up // never!! 💖
alright last one! get physical activity // yeah, but not the way i meant when i set this goal haha! it’s amazing what running orders at cfa can do to your thighs!
ok we did it!! i’m actually really happy with how much i focused on these goals 😍 however passively haha!
