I never know
where these prompts
are gonna take me 😂
Hi friends! Welcome back to Maggie’s Doodles, the creative space where I share inspiration from my life, photography, and so much more! This is week 3 of #Inktober2021, and I’m sharing my doodle interpretations of the prompts. I hope you enjoy!
Here are the first four! Day 18 (moon) was pretty easy – I enjoyed drawing a simple night sky. (the crescent turned out just the way I wanted it to 😍🌙)
Day 19 is SO cute – it was loop! The first ‘loop’ I thought of were Fruit Loops (a cereal for those who aren’t familiar with them), and they’re just adorable.
Day 20 is sprout, so I drew a cute little bud in a pot. 🌱
The ombre on the pot, tho 😍😂
And Day 21 (fuzzy) has a funny story behind it. Initially, I wanted to do a hedgehog – wait no lol, a pomeranian!! So I drew the head and fuzzy body… only to realize it looked like a sheep. So I made the best of it! haha (he’s still very cute, and the grazzy hill he’s standing on is adorbs!)
Open is the prompt for Day 22, so I drew a door open to a golden opportunity! (the door’s totally crooked tho haha)
I brainstormed for a few minutes, trying to think of how I could draw Day 23 (leak). I eventually came up with a watering can leaking some water!
Lastly, we have Day 24’s prompt – extinct. I drew woolly mammoths!! This was my first time drawing them, and I think they turned out so adorable. The way I colored their fur was really cool.
Thanks so much for reading!! The photography in this Inktober post turned out really pretty because of the time of day I took the pictures (aka late afternoon, so imma do the same for next week’s doodles 😂).
Aww I just realized there’s only one more Inktober Saturday after this!! Maaan… it’s gone by so fast. In fact, the month of October is zooming by.
*realizing I have a few collabs I need to get working on!* Gotta go 😂
