Hello!! Welcome back to maggie’s doodles π well, itβs a bit of a late post from me today. ππ
I had a fun idea for a post series this morning! π
I’m going to choose a topic to look up on a free stock photo website (either Pixabay, Pexels or Unsplash), then pick three photos and write little short stories for them.
Today’s topic (as you can see π) is: puppies!
Are you ready? Letβs go!

“Look at ’em, Charlie,” Vanessa whispered. She tucked her hands beneath her chin and continued to gaze at the puppies.
Charlie smiled, then reached over and fixed Vanessa’s beautiful curly hair across her ear. “They’re so peaceful,” he murmured back.
“Which one are you taking home?” she asked now, turning to meet his gaze.
He smiled again, this time fighting his natural response. Giving in, he tapped Vanessa gently on the nose. “This one.”
Charlie’s heart shone when her smile lit up the whole room.

“Aww, it’s Victor’s first time taking a walk!” Lucy squealed. She clapped excitedly and jumped up and down.
Claire, her older sister, smiled. “He’s having a great time!” she said, watching as Victor circled Lucy’s ankles.
Their dad walked over and beamed at the little group. “How’s he doing?”
“He’s having a blast.” Claire had just finished saying this when Victor popped a dandeloin in his mouth and began a sneezing fit.
“Oh dear! Poor Victor!” Lucy picked the puppy up and gave him a healing hug.
Robert, their dad, laughed gently. “Victor’s glad you’re here to take care of him,” he said, putting his sunglasses up on his head.
“I’ll always be here,” Lucy whispered. She kissed the top of the puppy’s head.

“What a cutie!” A few girls walked over and smiled at the chipper Pomeranian.
Nicole smiled and stroked Elm’s head. “He loves attention,” she said cheerfully.
“Does he love coffee as much as I do?” the taller girl quipped, and they all laughed. Elm happily licked the outstretched hand of the girl with curly hair and glasses.
“One day I’ll have to get a pom,” the first said. Then added, “I’m surprised they allow doggies in here! I’m delighted.”
“They know Elm is well-behaved,” Nicole said.
Defying this statement, Elm reached up and happily placed a paw in his owner’s coffee mug.
“Oh my!” The three laughed joyously.
“Elm is a trickster,” said the girl with curly hair, giving Elm a nice pat.

Yayy thanks so much for reading! I hope you enjoyed these stories. I had a lot of fun writing them! ππ

All the stories and photos are absolutely adorable β€οΈ. I loved all of them – the second one was really beautiful as it reminded me of my dog’s first walk. πΎ
