snapshots from my month | cat-sitting, fireworks, and positive changes

Hi guys! Welcome BACK to my blog πŸ˜ŽπŸ’• Happy August to ya!

I’m gonna start off this month on maggie’s doodles by continuing a series I haven’t posted in a while! The title says it all: I’m sharing my snapshots from the month of July πŸ’œ

Yo, was it a MONTH for me. It was physically exhausting πŸ₯΅ (working outside in the summer sun? shew) and mentally exhausting. 😴 I blogged where I could, but boy, was I spent most of the time.

Despite the summer madness and emotional turmoil (wow I could write a book lol), I wouldn’t go back and change a thing. I grew so much! I’m thankful for my family, friends, job, and my relationship with the Lord. I’ve grown more in a few weeks than I have in the past few years it seems, and for that I’m very grateful. πŸ’–

I really feel like the change of months has lined up with the changes happening in my life! I’m feeling happier and more peaceful. I can’t wait to blog more ⭐ Thanks for sticking around!

Let’s get going with the snapshots πŸ˜„πŸ’•

snapshots from my month

I loved doing this doodle lyric post at the beginning of the month! ‘The Last of The Real Ones’ by Fall Out Boy was a song Zoe requested I doodle, and I’m so glad she did πŸ˜ŠπŸ’œ It was one of my favorite songs to listen to in July!

We got to go see FIREWORKS on the 4th! 😍❀️ It was a lot of fun. At first we thought where we’d parked to watch them was too far away lol, but the show just started later than we thought!

I cat-sitted (πŸ˜‚πŸ˜»πŸ’•) for an entire week of July! I was helping some relatives who were on vacation.

Samuel went with me a few of the days, and that was so fun! The cats enjoyed seeing us and Samuel and I found it hilarious to joke around and interact with the cats.

This little guy has been my buddy while working this summer! I keep the cards I need to have on me in this pineapple bag, and I’ve really appreciated using it. (Also my sunglasses are the bomb πŸ˜‚πŸ’•)

I did a guest post on Diamond’s blog! It was a lot of fun and the photos turned out so cute πŸ€©πŸ’™

I got this SUPER pretty notebook, but I haven’t thought of a good use for it yet! Do you have any ideas? I wanna start writing in it πŸ˜‚πŸ˜πŸ’•

I moved the piano keyboard into my room! I haven’t played it much recently, but I love having it in here. (I say here because I’m currently at my desk 🀣) Seeing it reminds me that I want to continue learning how to play Faded by Alan Walker! One day…

I took this selfie after going to Trader Joe’s with my fam! It was fun and I got some delicious treats. What isn’t fun is I’ve been having cubital tunnel recently. It’s making it where my wrist hurts and I have to write and type less 😐 le sigh *bear with me*

Look at how CUTE Izzy is! 😍😍😍

Gah sharing all these pictures is making me realize how much I’ve missed this series! I gotta do more ❀️

Here’s Izzy being cute again!! πŸ€£πŸ€£πŸ’–

Thanks so much for reading! I’ll see you again soon πŸ’•

Which picture/s were your favorite? What were some highlights/things you learned in July? Let’s chat in the comments!

  1. Wowsa! Sounds like a busy, but fun month! I should really get back into blogging, but I just don’t have the time or energy. I get what you say about being spent everyday! July was just a crazy month for me.

    1. Yes it definitely was! Right?? It’s tiring… I have a ton of ups and downs with emotional and mental energy. Taking it a day at a time πŸ˜ŒπŸ’›
