Somehow, Sundays have unintentionally become doodle lyric days for me 😂 so it works out that this is the post I wanted to do next lol!
Hi guys!! Welcome back to my blog 💖 it’s doodle lyrics time!! 🤩👍
On my last doodle lyrics post, Zoe @ Random Thoughts of my Fandoms requested that I do ‘The Last of the Real Ones’ by Fall Out Boy next! I want to give her a HUGE thank you because this song has incredible imagery and I had a blast illustrating it 💜😍💜
Stay tuned till the end for some behind-the-scenes doodle goodies! haha
Below you’ll find the song so you can listen to it while you check out the doodles!: (if you’re on mobile click here for the song)

Yaaay thanks so much for reading! 💕 I love drawing tiny planets 😂
Now it’s time for…
behind the scenes! 🎥
Wow so many markers 😂❤️
I love how my doodle projects look cool individually, but then make this awesome collage on the page together! You can see where I was trying to freehand a circle and failing miserably lol (I had not been awake for long enough 🤣), and I thought the circular star border would add a nice touch.
Here you can see where I doodled a lyric from the chorus (‘write our names in the wet concrete’ lol), and one from the second verse (‘I am a collapsing star with tunnel vision’ – pretty simplistic of me hah!)
💕With doodling, I aim to balance perfecting the original idea I had for a drawing with accepting the way some doodles come out.
That means that while I’ll redraw something if it didn’t work out at all, I’ll also work with doodles that weren’t quite what I was picturing!
I would encourage you to do the same with your own art: enjoy the process and don’t spend too much time worrying about perfecting each project.
Easier said than done I know, but it’s provided me with huge artist relief to accept imperfections 😂❤️ I love you artists! Keep on creating 💖🎨
Thanks so much for reading and I’l see you again soon!
