Hi there! Thanks for coming by my blog today! 💕 I have some AWESOME news to share with you 😍 so sit back, relax, and let’s chat about spring!

For my entire life, spring has been a torturous time of year. My pollen allergies are disruptive to my day! In the peak of pollen, I sneeze several times every hour, my throat itches, my eyes burn, my nose runs, and I can have dizzy spells as well (from all the sneezing and congestion). It’s very uncomfortable.
I’ll do my best to stay inside, but the outside air makes its way in and I can’t really avoid it. Taking OTC benadryl tablets doesn’t help unless I’m having a very intense reaction, but it’s not fun to be sleepy and experience dizziness, so I usually avoid taking it.

I also have pollen allergies for a few weeks in the fall. Did you know that plants pollinate (but it’s very minimal/invisible) when they’re shedding their leaves, as well as growing them? I didn’t, but my nose does. 😂 So yeah, my two favorite times of the year for outdoor photography (flower photoshoots, portraits, and beautiful fall leaf pictures) are tainted by sneezing fits and going through tissue boxes.

I’ve kind of accepted that this is my life…? But not really. I expect the sneezing and the itching, but I wouldn’t say I’m okay with it. I suppose I make it through every year, constantly wishing my face didn’t feel like it got attacked by a pollen bomb.

My mom suggested I try taking Allegra tablets this spring. My expectations were quite low because of how intense my sensitivities are, and I didn’t know if they could be reached and dealt with by any OTC medicine. However, I took one a few weeks ago, figuring any amount of symptom-suppressing the medication could do would be appreciated.
WELL GUESS WHAT.
Allegra works!!! I’VE BEEN CURED 😂💕💕

I was able to take all of these flower pictures last week without a single. sneeze. I am absolutely blown away!
This is the first spring of my life where I’ve been able to enjoy going biking, appreciate the cool breeze, take beautiful pictures, and go on walks.
To say that I’m grateful would be the understatement of the decade. I used to spend every waking minute of spring thinking about how uncomfortable I was, and now I’m spending this spring extremely grateful to be feeling so awesome!

If you or someone you love struggles with pollen allergies, and you/they haven’t tried Allegra yet, definitely look into it!! I have personally had a great experience with it.
I do sneeze a bit every morning while the Allegra’s getting in my system 😂 but otherwise, my sinuses don’t even notice what time of year it is now. It makes me SO happy!!!

So that’s my health tip for you today! I am seriously so happy to have found something that helps me. Special thanks to my mom for recommending I try Allegra! 😍💕
I hope you enjoyed seeing my spring photography! And if you have pollen allergies like I do, maybe this post has given you a bit of hope 💛

Oh, that’s awesome news! I’m glad you found something that works! I have some pretty mild dust allergies, but nothing too bad. I’m really glad to hear you’re able to enjoy the lovely spring weather without any nasty allergy side-effects!

Yes!!! Thanks Jehosheba! *hugs* ❤️ yeah dust is no fun either 😂 my dust sensitivity is a little more manageable than my pollen allergies!

We both have allergies spring and fall. We have two Mungo pines in our front yard, and when they put out their pollen, we sneeze and sneeze. We haven’t tried Allegra, but will.
And the pictures–spectacular!
