How do you approach your day?

Do you plan it out, consider future commitments, and make sure everything from the day before has been tended to? You’re a Judging type!

Do you take it all as it comes, jump on opportunities that present themselves, and put things off in favor of better options to come along? You’re a Prospecting type!

If you’ve noticed my blogging habits, I’m a Judging type with a Prospecting complex! 😂 I absolutely loooove all the tedious, careful planning and outlining that goes into running a blog. Despite this, I’ll also find myself moving stuff around and considering all the options quite routinely, which results in shifting schedules that are unsatisfying. I’m learning 💪 hehe

the prompts + my answers

#1: Judging types love orderliness, and Prospecting types prefer spontaneity

Is it possible to love having everything organized, and then within that organization, have variation? 😂 I love to do the same things differently. Orderliness is awesome! And so is a dash of spontaneity. (I just learned how to spell that word, btw) Judging: check!

#2: Prospectors want things open-ended; Judging types want things settled

Every night before going to bed, I absolutely must confirm that all is well in my world. If there was any pending argument or negative conversation occurring between me and someone else, I’ll help us along in coming to a conclusion so that I may sleep in peace. 😂 (Usually, that means seeing I was overreacting and I’ll apologize. heh)

There are things in my life that must be open-ended, so if at all possible, I settle everything within my power! I like for things to be resolved, peaceful, and balanced, not questionable. Judging: check!

#3: Prospecting types juggle tasks, while Judging types enjoy meeting deadlines

Far too often, I’ll find myself juggling many tasks in an orderly way! But this always results in burnout, and after a productive season has that kind of finale, I’ll spend days or weeks reevaluating my commitments. The objective is to discover how I can enjoy daily productivity without a rough ending 😂 Accommodating my Judging type personality should do the trick! Judging: check!

#4: Judging types work then play, and Prospectors play while they work

This is such a legit description of both types, my goodness 🤣 I must work, then I can play! I do try to have fun with my work (i.e. singing or listening to music while washing the dishes), but overall, my work must be finished before I can have fun. Judging: check!

#5: Prospecting types keep options open; Judging types follow schedules

Schedules!!! One of my favorite words 😍 haha it brings such happy, fun times to mind. Life has a way of following its own schedule, though, so while I love making my own routines, I remain as open-minded as I can on following through with them. Flexibility is important! Judging: check!

This was a really fun one to write! The Judging qualities just really matched me so well 😂 One of the articles I was reading said the Judging/Prospecting type is usually the easiest for people to determine which one they are. The other three components of personality is typically a combination of both for most people.
