a photoshoot with baby yoda

Hello!! You’re reading the latest post on maggie’s doodles, the creative lifestyle blog where hilarity and inspiration abound! I hope this post finds you well 💛 I have a new photoshoot to share with you today!

While shopping recently, I bought a Mandalorian playset for Samuel so that he and I can have fun playing pretend! What I wasn’t expecting to happen was how much of a blast I’d have being Baby Yoda! A few days ago I knew I’d have to do a photoshoot with him to share with you. 😂💚

This isn’t the first time I’ve featured this cute little guy on my blog! Click here to check out the doodle rendition I made of him. That was a lot of fun!

Now let’s get on to the photoshoot. I took these pictures yesterday after gathering up all of the other Star Wars toys we had lying around the house! I also had to locate Baby Yoda before the photoshoot, which took like 20 minutes because he’d gotten mixed in to the girls’ toys. 😂 and I couldn’t locate his carriage unfortunately. But I got lots of other pics to make up for that!

Thanks sooo much for reading! I’m not sure why that last shot focused on the leaves and flower behind his ear 🤣 oh well.

he says hello to you guys!

This entire photography session is all thanks to the beautiful filter called Baby on RookieCam! I loved working with the filter, the natural lighting, and the hues and angles in the Star Wars toys.

I’d also like to shoutout to hororroso on Pixabay for the awesome Baby Yoda illustration in my featured image! It completed the look and I was so happy to find it ❤️

fun side note: it took me 25 minutes to write this post! (not including taking the pics or tagging, but anyway 🤣)

Which picture/s were your favorite? Who or what should I do a photoshoot with next? Let’s chat in the comments!

    1. Thank you!! 😂💚
I appreciate it! Hm I’m not sure… I think it’s a concept I borrowed from artists actually. 😂 they title their pieces, but there aren’t many photographers I’ve seen do it.
