🚃 Who is the kindest person you know? What is it about them that makes you think of them this way?

Fred Rogers! He was the host of Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood, a children’s TV show that was started in the late-60s, which I loved watching reruns of! I have some of the fondest memories ever watching those episode segments as a kid and feeling like my own grandpa had come over for a visit.

The way Fred Rogers talked – in a way that really encourages you and supports you every step of the way – I really felt like everything he said in the show was just for me! I liked his company, and appreciating his work as an adult, I’ve found that he has the exact same effect on an older person.

The show may have been for children, but his life philosophy and way of treating people encourages love and kindness in all stages of life.

The world always needs more kind people!
One interesting thing you can do is

think of all the beautiful traits
you love about your favorite people.
This can be a great starting point
for finding traits and qualities you’d like
to start working on yourself!
Here are some other things you

can do to be a kinder person, too:
💓 speak with a nice tone of voice
💓 help others before they ask
💓 think about your friends’ needs
💓 be kind to and have fun with children!
