Hello! How’s it goin’? 😀 ❤ This is day two of #doodlingthekindway! I hope you have fun reading along with this series!
“You can never know the ripple effect you create with one tiny gesture of kindness.” – Elle Sommer
🚙 Are you a considerate driver? This week, think of others as you travel. Let people into your lane when you can, show patience at traffic lights, and relax.
Well, uh… *awkward chuckle* I’d like to be! 😅 I’ll definitely be thinking more about showing kindness and patience to those I’m sharing the road with. I can do this by leave space at intersections, only honking when I need to (and not getting ticked off about it 😂), and taking off/slowing down at a more reasonable speed.
It’s super important to be safe and considerate when driving, especially since we’re sharing the road with so many people.
I know that I could definitely do with some chillaxing. I’ll get really tense, especially in downtown areas, the interstate, and anywhere I need to merge or make a risky left turn (*gulp*). Heck, that kind of sounds like anywhere I drive 😂 ok not really, but almost.
I’m going to calm down at traffic lights! When the person in front of me hasn’t moved yet, the light’s green, and I’m THIS CLOSE 🤏 to honking at them, making a combo of these faces 😳+😬 haha, I’m way too stressed about it. So I’m going to relax 😌
Let’s welcome back
our special guest…
💓 Captain Kindness Inspiration of the Day 💓
be a nice driver/passenger
“are we there yet?”
“ok whatever, it was my turn!”
“I want McDonald’s!”
“the light’s GREEN!!!”
none of these phrases are exactly… kind, right?
let’s change up car conversations this week!
whether you’re the driver or the passenger,
you can do nice little things like:
💓 help out with navigation
💓 have nice, considerate-volume conversations
💓 be nice to those that are sharing the road
💓 keep the car nice and tidy
(clean up after yourself!)
