Hello! I hope you’re doing well. ❤ In this post, I’m going to be wrapping up my January 2021! And you’re invited to do the same in the comments 😀 ❤
(Hey did you guys know Eeshani is hosting a blog promotion raffle? You can go check that out here! It’s gonna be really fun!)
Let’s chat about January’s highlights, impacting moments, and everything in between!
january 2021
In January, I enjoyed getting back into exercising. I went bike-riding with my brother Joshua, did an ab workout on YouTube, and went on multiple walks, which was very refreshing.
When it comes to hobbies, I joined the app Sketch-A-Day and shared a doodle there daily for over two weeks! I “published” an eBook series on my blog (here), and I worked on blog posts I’m really happy with.
On YouTube, I’ve been watching news bloopers, Gentle Whispering / Sassy Masha, and My Light Way! My favorite music has been Hunter Hayes, The Greatest Showman soundtrack, and various songs Joshua and I listen to on our bike rides.
Along with fun moments, this month also presented some challenges for my family. My dad was hospitalized for a couple of days late in the month. He has a skin infection and is seeking treatment and guidance from different specialists. We’re taking it a day at a time, working together and helping him to heal and feel better slowly but surely.
My little sister Isabella (Izzy) turned three on the 26th! We had a fun birthday party for her, complete with a new set of Peppa Pig toys that she and her siblings have had a lot of fun playing with.
How was your January? What did you learn? What hobbies did you enjoy doing? How have things been for you and your family?
I’d love to hear your answers to any of these questions in the comments!
Goodbye January, and hello February! ❤

I’m so glad you had a good January, because mine was AWFUL. I am really excited for February, I’m going to try my hardest to make it better than this month. Which won’t be so hard, since my birthday is in it, Valentine’s Day is in it, and I have a fun daily prompt thing for that month!
Goodbye January indeed! Will NOT miss you!

It seems like January was pretty good for you, overall!
My January was…busy I guess? Also, I was feeling really weird mentally(not really depressed, but idk), but I think February will be better. I have a lot of things that I want to do in February.
Probably one of my favorite things I did in January was start a (well, 2,) novels. I abandoned one(for now,) but I’m feeling good about the second one. It’s a Middle-Grade mystery! My goal is 50k, and I’m already about 4-5k, so I’m feeling good about that.

Yeah it was! Same here just a bit on the mental health note. I had some ups and downs, and I’m learning about what to do on the downs hah
That’s really cool! Sounds like February will have some cool things in store for you 🙂

Sounds like you had an amazing January, Maggie!! I’ve been super caught up with school😂 Thank goodness for scheduled posts😂
I’m kind of ashamed that I abandoned Sketch a day like a week later. It was encouraging and inspiring too, but it would stress me out on some days😂 I can’t wait for school to end this month, so I can finally breathe.
I hope you have a fantastic February!!😉❤️

Yeah it had a lot of great moments! And YES scheduled posts are lifesavers 😂
Aw that’s too bad. After two weeks I realized it felt more like work than play to do a doodle every day, so I’d rather save my doodle energy (😂) for blog series!
Thank you! I hope you do too 😄💜
