my bookmark collection!

Welcome back to my blog! In the artist’s station tour I recently shared, I asked if any of you would be interested in me sharing my bookmark collection, and a few of you said you were! So that’s what I’ll be sharing today 😀 ❤ I’m excited to chat about them with you!

To take these pictures, I set up a little table at my bedroom window and covered the tabletop with a soft, pretty blanket. This is a great way to do a little photoshoot, and the pictures look nice and professional!

Here they are at a glance! Now let’s check them out one at a time.

This one’s one of my favorites! I got it at a library years ago and it’s soooo cute. It’s a cat with three Hairy Pawter (get it? haha) books!

These are from the library as well. So what’s happening is that Scarlett O’Hara, the heroine in Gone With the Wind, is reading Frankenstein, which she finds rather intense. lol and Frankenstein’s monster is deeply moved by the events in Gone With the Wind! I think these bookmarks are so creative 😀

I got this in 2015 from my favorite library! While I’m not the biggest fan of the art, I love it because it reminds me of volunteering at the library that year. I helped with the kids’ program and reshelving books!

My family and I have stayed at Country Inn & Suites hotels a few times over the years, and they have complimentary bookmarks! It’s a fun reminder of the great times my family and I had while traveling.

This one’s from a library as well, haha! I loved learning more about my state with the facts shared on this!

So this is a paint swatch I used to use in my phone holder, and now it’s a bookmark. Strange history I know, haha

More summer reading program bookmarks! I like the soft colors used in these.

Here’s one of my favorites! Seeing these reasons to read as a child made me even more hyped about reading than I already was haha

I love the comic-inspired artwork from this year!

This is a very special bookmark from an author my mom and I got to know online years ago! I have a signed copy of her book (which is featured on this bookmark), which I really enjoyed getting to read.

Woohoo! Mo Willems bookmarks! These are actually my favorites out of the whole collection! I loved reading his Elephant and Piggie books growing up, and I was very happy when I spotted these bookmarks at my library a few years ago.

My mom got me these Shakespeare bookmarks for Christmas one year! I think the artwork’s really cool 😀

The Hamlet one (far right) is my favorite out of this set!

The last one has some of the many names of Jesus! ❤

Thank you so much for reading! I’d love to see a post showcasing your favorite bookmarks! If you have a collection and decide to share them on your blog, you can share a link below to that post. I’d be so happy to read it! ❤

  2. This is an amazing selection of bookmarks! The Shakespearean ones are so beautiful, and the Frankenstein and Scarlett ones are so hilarious! I own only two bookmarks in the house, but I also cherish those since some nice memories are connected with them and one of them is HP-inspired.
